10 years in the making, Omaha launched its first pilot program to determine the viability of more bikeways in the community. In partnership with Bike Walk Nebraska, Omaha by Design and the City of Omaha, our team worked to facilitate the brading, planning and announcement of the bikeway in the Omaha community. Being the first one locally, educating bikers, pedestrians and cars on how to use it was the main priority. This was accomplished through information graphics to explain the different lanes and direction and signage coordinator to instruct all users of the bikeway how to enter and exit safely.
